As previously reported, Idina will be performing at Syracuse University's Goldstein Auditorium on March 19 at 8:00 pm. Idina's show is SU's Women's History Month concert!

Tickets are $20 ($5 for SU students) and can be purchased only through the university's box office at (315) 443-4517 and go on sale to the public on Monday, November 17 at 11:00 am EDT.

Fan Club members will be able to purchase presale tickets beginning today at 11:00 am EDT. You can locate the presale info by navigating to the "Tickets" tab in the "My Account" section of IdinaMenzel.com.

It's been announced today that Idina will be participating in the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! She will be on a float singing a yet-to-be-determined song. More details will be posted once they become available.

Potentially related to this performance is the release of Idina's new single, entitled "Hope." She recorded the track at Abbey Road Studios while in London last month promoting 'I Stand.' The single should be released on iTunes in the US next week (subject to change) - all proceeds will go to the STAND UP 2 CANCER charity.

November 4 is election day in the US and Idina's made her voice heard several times this season when it comes to everyone exercising their right to vote. She filmed a little reminder for everyone who can needs to get out and vote in the 2008 presidential election!

While she was in London last month, Idina recorded a duet with X-Factor runner-up Rhydian Roberts. The song is titled "What If" and will appear on Rhydian's album which is released in the UK on 24 November. I do not know if it will have a US release, but it's currently available for streaming as part of a broadcast on a BBC radio program.

Mark your calendars and set your Tivo for Thursday, January 15th! Idina's PBS Soundstage Concert Special from Rose Hall in New York (filmed April 14 & 15, 2008) will be aired at 10pm EDT/9pm CDT on Thursday, January 15, 2009.
