On June 26, 2010 My parents and I flew up to Pennsylvania to attend Idina’s symphony concert. The concert was incredible and I will forever hold that night close to my heart. After the show both my parents and I ran to the stage door and waited anxiously for Idina to come out. One hour and 45 minutes later, I started to see people come out of the door. First to walk out…TAYE DIGGS! My heart dropped and tears rolled down my cheek. Already in shock, i watched the door open a second time and out came Idina! She was filled with joy and her smile was so genuine and real. You could just tell how incredibly thankful and appreciative she was to be surrounded by so many dearing fans. I have gone to many stage doors before, but know one treats fans the way Idina does. Last year I met Idina at a meet and greet and it was the most amazing experience of my life. However, this time was different. My heart was filled with a different kind of joy. When I asked her to take a picture with me, she kind of stopped and just starred at me as if she knew me but didn’t know how. It was incredible! Then, she happily took a picture with me, thanked me for coming, and then moved down the line. I watched her take pictures with all of the fans and interact with all the people-But here is the best part…As she started to exit the area and step into the car, she turned around to thank everyone one last time. But instead of looking at the group she turned her head to the side where I was standing and looked at me! For an amazing three seconds she solely looked at me and said thank you again!
