Today, Idina was presented with a Matrix Award by the New York Women in Communications, Inc., which honors “the extraordinary achievements of outstanding women in the communications industry.”  The entire awards presentation can be viewed here. Her section begins right about the two hour mark with Dana Tyler’s introduction followed by Idina’s speech.  Pictures have also been added to the gallery, which can be accessed by clicking on any of the pictures below.  Congratulations, Idina!

First, let me just say — Wow! Idina really has the best fans! Thank you to everyone who responded to my tweet last night for web design help! I’m so glad that I can count on others to continue to make this the best fansite possible! A new feature for the site is currently in the works and will hopefully be up and running in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

In other news, Idina has added another show! She will be performing in La Jolla, California at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies on August 27th. This is a benefit, so ticket prices could be steep. No on-sale information is available yet.  A link to the website can be found in the sidebar.

Finally, Idina was spotted in last week’s Star magazine on the “Best of the Week” fashion page for her stunning red outfit she wore to the Alzheimer’s Association benefit last week!
