PRE-ORDER “THE TOLLBOOTH” ON AMAZON.COM

Nearly four years after it was filmed, Debra Kirschner’s independent film, The Tollbooth, is set to be released on DVD. Beginning today, you can order the DVD off of Amazon.com for the LOW PRICE of $9.99 $14.99 $12.99! (edit: price change)

The Tollbooth tells the coming-of-age story of a trio of adult sisters from a traditional Jewish-American family. It focuses on the youngest girl, Sarabeth (Marla Sokoloff), as she deals with going against her parents’ wishes to follow her dreams. Idina co-stars as Sarabeth’s older and more tradition-abiding sister, Raquel. Rob McElhenney, Liz Stauber, and Tovah Feldshuh also star.

I know most fans didn’t get the opportunity to see this film while it made its way through the small festival circuit, but I was lucky enough to catch a screening nearly 3 years ago — and it’s definitely an Idina performance not to be missed! Support this film by purchasing the DVD today! The film will be officially released on April 8, 2008.

Note: Idina even gets SECOND BILLING on the DVD cover-art! Pretty great news. wassat

GENERAL WEBSITE NOTE:
As I’m sure you’ve all noticed, updates have slowed a bit after the huge onslaught of news through January/February. Things have been extremely busy for me while I prepare to graduate and enter the job world, so I hope that you can be patient as I get things dealt with and organized.

Please remember that for the next few weeks, if you are looking for Idina news and you haven’t seen an update here in a few days, don’t hesitate to visit other sites that are great news resources, like the Official Idina Menzel Message Board or the So Beautiful Fan Forum — there is also the often-updated Idina Menzel Worship LiveJournal Community, which is worth joining if you can. smile

I definitely don’t want people to go without their Idina-news just because I find myself unable to update immediately. Hopefully things will settle soon. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
