Idina Menzel brings her hot (and ‘Frozen’) 2017 World Tour to Jacobs Pavilion
So, if you know anything about Idina Menzel, it’s probably that she’s been on Broadway, been in numerous movies and television shows, has six albums, and does a concert tour.
What you might not have expected is that she can really rock, and she proved it Wednesday night in Cleveland with her rendition of the Led Zeppelin hit “Black Dog.”
Menzel was at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica during a stop on her 56-show 2017 World Tour, and wowed the crowd with her amazing range and variety of music including songs from her Broadway shows Rent and Wicked, the movies Frozen and Beaches as well as the Simon & Garfunkel classic “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and songs from her Idina album.
It’s a wide variety that brought in all range of ages from tweens (and younger) to many who grew up in the wild 60’s era of rock and roll. The show had something for everybody, and it’s what makes her so popular no matter where she goes. With all that talent, it’s no wonder she’s become this generation’s Bette Midler.
